Sierra Tucson is one of the nation’s premier treatment programs for individuals suffering from addictions, chronic pain, mood disorders and other mental health issues. We utilize the Sierra Model® of treatment, which recognizes that everyone exists as mind, body, spirit and emotions. Medical and psychiatric services combine with the 12-Step philosophy and a full range of traditional and experiential therapies, including EMDR, equine-assisted therapy and adventure therapy. Integrative therapies such as acupuncture, chiropractic, massage therapy, Qigong, Reiki, Shiatsu, Somatic Experiencing®, yoga and Zero Balancing enhance the treatment process. Detailed Program Description "Housed on a 160-acre campus in the Santa Catalina Mountains north of Tucson, Arizona, Sierra Tucson has established itself as one of the nation’s premier providers of rehabilitation and recovery services for men and women who are suffering from alcoholism, drug addiction, depression, anxiety, trauma, eating disorders, sexual compulsivity, or other mental and behavioral disorders. For more than 25 years, Sierra Tucson has provided world-class treatment to thousands of people. An internationally renowned treatment facility, Sierra Tucson provides personalized rehabilitation and recovery services that feature some of the most progressive, effective therapies available. Each of our clinical staff treats patients based on our unique Sierra Model®, which is designed to treat patients as whole individuals. This model also integrates philosophies and practices from the medical, psychological, family systems and self-help communities while incorporating 12-Step principles, resulting in a powerful treatment experience. The Family Program is a hallmark of Sierra Tucson's treatment approach. This dynamic four-day program is included with each person's treatment to enhance long-term recovery and extend healing to the family. A Couple's Workshop provides an opportunity for all couples in the Family Program to tend to their relationship issues and receive educational and therapeutic support for recovery. A Family Youth Program provides age-appropriate activities for family members 11-17 years of age to help them process the turmoil they have experienced and learn new life skills."
